BABY OF MINE: Well this is one of two songs I wrote when my girlfriend left me for a younger man. Oh woe is me. The President of Polydor records back in the seventies said to me once I hope that you have lots of lovers and breakups so that you can write lots of hit songs. He had selfish reasons of course but he is right. I've written several hit songs from the most hurtful breakups. I remembered what he said in my pain this time and this is one of the songs I wrote. It is also a song of acceptance of change the true constant. I call this an acoustic rock song.
