STARS IN THE WATER: Everyone gets lonely and sometimes you look back to a time when you were so in love with the best person but for some reason you can't quite put your finger on, the love slipped away and was gone. I'm a painter and several artist friends and I used to travel to Lake Lavalle near Algonquin Park in the Province of Ontario in Canada. We would go for a few days and unwind from the city and paint on site. This one time, when we arrived after dark in deep woods, only moonlight guided us to our campsite. When we arrived I rushed and stumbled down to the lake shore to witness the lake like glass reflecting the stars in the water. The whole Milky Way! You couldn't tell the difference between the sky and the water. It was a marvelous sight. I sat down and in my mind I saw myself and an old flame of mine paddling down the reflection of the Milky Way among the stars. So I wrote this pop ballad "Stars In The Water" which is a song of remembrance that speaks for itself.
