TABOO: Once I found myself at a party and I saw a beautiful woman across the room. Without thinking my heart rose in my mouth and started to pound. I could see that she was reacting the same way. We had no control over our emotions at that moment. We both got up without speaking and walked out onto the balcony and looked at each other with fleeting glances my whole body was feeling the vibe. Then I glanced down at her hand and saw the wedding ring my heart sunk. I couldn't cross that line. We seemed to wake up from the same dream and slowly went our separate ways, but I can still feel the longing. I wrote this song in my approach to the classic R&B style. Sort of like I remember from listing to the radio in the late 50's early 60's. I love this song for its images.
